I got into really painting, sewing and developing my own characters as I refused to hate my life at a regular 9 to 5. A few years ago I did just that. I discovered its worth working a passion over a job I'd distain day after day. I thought to myself what I had felt original and unique. Many of my ideas, creations and thoughts I have held on to since high school. Never in my life have I thought I would dedicate my life to my odd crazy passions, but still wouldn't choose other wise. why be like everyone else? why make the same art? why write the same story? The world is too boring.

All my art is based on my original characters inspired by multiple horror icons and genres across the board. I sometimes get inspired by things that surround me in real life and realized I wanted to go back to the original ways people wrote stories and romance. I miss that and I bet others do too. By mixing good old American values with gothic romance, and of course a bit of dark morbid humor added in I created my own world i am destined to share. In total I have made over 12 paintings, hand sewn over 100 pieces and have written over 8 notebooks of lore of my characters. This is a continuing crazy, artistic ,imperfect process, years in the making. TheDarkNightsCo was never planned but created on a whim and my love for my weird character I made. So if you're weird and have a dream, do it. You have one life its not worth living dull.
